In My Heart: A Book of Feelings Jo Witek

This entire series is gorgeous. This particular book is all about feelings and what our heart can feel. The heart cutout that changes size on every page is a favorite of my boys! Each page talks about a different feeling and how it makes us feel.

Big Book of the Body Minna Lacey

is about the body. It is full of information and contains 4 very long fold out pages that we love to explore together. My boys started enjoying it around 3 and my oldest still likes it at 7.

The I Love You Book Todd Parr

is about unconditional love between parent and child. It is a great book to tell your children you love them, plus they all enjoy the bright and bold illustrations! Great for toddlers and up.

Celebrate Valentine's Day National Geographic

takes you around the world to see how Valentine's Day is celebrated in other countries and what the history behind Valentine's is. It is very cute and as usual the photos are stunning.

Pete The Cat: Valentine's Day Is Cool James Dean

is another fun Pete the Cat book! At first Pete isn't interested in Valentine's until he realizes how many friends he has and starts making Valentine's day cards.

Baby Touch and Feel I Love You DK

is so cute! Great board-book for babies and it has nice textures to explore.

Breathe Like a Bear: 30 Mindful Moments for Kids to Feel Calm and Focused Anytime, Anywhere Kira Willey

Although not exactly a heart book, it is a great ressource to learn mindfulness and how to listen to your body. For 4 year old and up.

Cardiology for Kids...and Adults Too! April Chloe Terrazas

This one is for kids 5 and up and even adults. It has very detailed and bright hand-drawn illustrations (which I love!) and very detailed vocabulary with so much to learn! Everything is bite-sized so it is easier to learn. If you have younger children check out

The Heart: All about Our Circulatory System and More! (Smithsonian science) Seymour Simon

is also all about the heart but with real photos! There is a lot to learn in this one too. And although it is geared towards Elementary school children, younger children will enjoy it too.

Hear Your Heart Paul Showers

is fun to read while paying with a stethoscope.

The Magic School Bus Inside the Human Body Joanna Cole

We love Magic School Bus videos and books! This one is no exception! My 5 and 7 year-olds love this book but it can be read with younger children by only reading the main facts.
