Antoni Gaudí

Do you find the architecture in Barcelona intriguing? It's time to meet Antoni Gaudí, a talented Spanish architect with a style all his own! He designed numerous structures in Barcelona in the late 1800s and early 1900s, eventually becoming known as the master of Catalan Modernism.

In this art box, children will learn about Gaudí, his colorful artistic style, and some of his most famous buildings. They'll transform a white canvas into a colorful house with a mosaic roof. They'll design two stained glass reproductions, create a clay tower, and lay out a mosaic sun and lizard. Each project is based on one of Gaudí's works so kids will be able to see what inspired him and use their imaginations to make the projects all their own.
